The time has come for the exciting industry of esports to be integrated into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Created by industry veterans, IKONIC aims to build an NFT community in the esports arena. Gaming and esports have become much more mainstream over the past decade, now the second most viewed sport in the United States only behind the NFL. Gaming and esports have the potential to offer much more value to every player.

We’re aware that most IKONIC moments in gaming are gone; think of the EVO Moment 37, The Six Million Dollar slam a 200 IQ moment, or a fantastic FIFA goal. The esports world does not offer many options in terms of revenue streams for independent athletes in particular. This is a problem that IKONIC intends to solve. We aim to encourage each player to create unforgettable moments by using blockchain technology. IKONIC’s NFT marketplace will allow every gamer to showcase their skills while having the opportunity to create NFT’s that can be sold on our NFT marketplace.

We believe the biggest asset of every player is the uniqueness and creativity that they bring to the gaming world. Players create IKONIC gaming moments that fuel our imagination. Until now, there has not been a way for a player or fan to own, and benefit from fantastic gameplays. IKONIC’s ambition is to fuel each gamer’s creative moments through digital assets giving them the ability to turn their passion into a profession.

Over the past year, NFTs have become much more common, but the esports industry has been left out. Gamers, players, artists, brands, game developers, and inspired minds from all over the world can now come together and turn their passion into something bigger — something truly IKONIC.

IKONIC Roadmap Explained

History of IKONIC

IKONIC NFT Marketplace idea was incepted in early 2021, the goal was to immortalize the unique moments in gaming. Soon afterward we have gathered our team for the initial planning phase. In May 2021 smart contract project was ready to begin, which was an exciting moment for us. In June 2021 our first alpha testing stage began. The results were extremely promising, therefore at the beginning of the summer, we have decided to launch ikonic.gg website.
